What Kind of Fabric is it?

SpeakerSox fabric is a soft breathable outdoor material. It is a weather and UV resistant poly/Spandex blend. SpeakerSox does provide water resistance but is not water proof due to the fact that water proof fabrics trap heat. Heat is the top reason why speakers fail over time due to rubber components drying out.
